Why we built Scrappy
Scrappy AI is built by an independent two-founder team (Ethan and Steven) in the United States. We kept looking at a full fridge and still ordering in, then throwing out the food we forgot. So we started building the app we wanted to use ourselves.
Turn a full fridge into dinner
A huge share of the food we buy never gets eaten. It is bought with good intentions, pushed to the back of the shelf, and quietly thrown away. That is money and effort in the bin, and it adds up fast.
Scrappy exists to close that gap. Snap your fridge, and the app ranks recipes by what is about to spoil, then guides you while you cook. The goal is simple: waste less, cook more of what you already paid for, and make the easy choice the one that also saves food.
